Working Student Compliance (d/f/m)

Enabling our daily operations is our e-money institution, Pay.cetera. Pay.cetera is an integral part of Paymenttools and our success. This a unique opportunity to be a part of the Pay.cetera team working closely with us here at Paymenttols and our Rewe Group counterparts. 

• Support our Customer Due Diligence (CDD) processes for new and existing customers, including onboarding and ongoing customer reviews.
• Research and verify customer information using official sources, databases and other publicly available information.
• Document customer information and research results in our compliance systems
• Support the migration of existing customer records into our new system and help ensure data is complete and accurate.
• Review potential sanctions and PEP screening matches and investigate whether they are true matches or false positives
• Support further analysis and investigations where additional customer information or clarification is required
• Support the Compliance team with additional topics related to Anti-Money Laundering, Risk and Data Protection

• You are interested in learning how customer onboarding, financial crime prevention and compliance processes work in practice
• Previous exposure to Compliance, AML, KYC or Customer Due Diligence is a plus, but absolutely not required
• You enjoy research and analytical work and are comfortable digging into information to find the details that matter
• You work carefully and independently, particularly when handling data and documentation
• You are confident using Microsoft Office
• Experience with Salesforce or similar systems is a plus
• You are currently studying, ideally in Business Administration, Law, Finance, Economics, but interest in the topic is more important
• You communicate confidently in both German and English
